For this documentary-style industrial film we were inspired by the still photography of Martin Schoeller and the ingenuity of Errol Morris.
This is a portrait shot by Martin Schoeller. His signature style is to show a subject's face in unnerving detail. Also the catch lights. Or the reflections of the lights he uses which are reflected in the eyes. As seen in the this photo there are two large white vertical strips in the subject's eyes. These are the individual lights that Schoeller chose to light this portrait. Those catch lights are a large part of why his images...
Big Boy is a film about hearing impairment, the Cochlear Implant, boyhood and coming of age.
For this film I followed Christopher (above right) a 16 year old who is profoundly hearing impaired. When he was 3 years old he received the Cochlear Implant which allowed him to hear and to learn to speak. This film chronicles Christopher's trials and triumphs as he makes his way through life. The trailer can be seen here.
Interview with his father, Paul.

During this trip four houses were built and donated to people in this area.
The homes that are built are very humble, essentially a two room house the size of an American one car garage. However, this home...
Here's a make-up and wardrobe test we shot for a feature entitled, The Persecuted. Which will be shot later this year. Here Kevin Sorbo and Bruce Davison run through a short scene.
Here I am with the director and my gaffer. We shot at the same studio that has brought you such masterpieces as Mega Shark and Transmorphers. It was a lot of fun to shoot there.
Back on the RED package. Here the director, Daniel Lusko, checks out the frame.
I've said it before, the make-up people are always the cutest girls on set.
Bruce Davison is running through his lines while...
