Potter’s House: A “Kind Of” Documentary

Michigan in autumn.  It was beautiful.  Here I am with the director lining up a shot for a quasi-narrative/documentary piece for the Potter’s House school in Grand Rapids.  The school is really wonderful and I learned a great deal about it during this shoot.  For example, 100% of the kids that attend graduate and 93% of those go on to college.  Amazing.

Here we are shooting one of the co-founders of the school.

Steadicam day.  My A.C., Derek Street, operated the Steadicam on the last day.  He did a really good job.

This looks like a band photo, but we are just walking back after the last Steadicam take to reset.
